    ​On 7–8 May 2026, a meeting on the protection of journalists, human rights activists and civil society organisations from abusive cross-border civil proceedings, known as ‘Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation’ (SLAPPs), was held in Brussels. The event was organised by the European Commission as part of the ‘European Democracy Shield’ initiative.

    ​On 9 April 2026, a conference on the legal aspects of surrogacy, attended by Polish and Italian academics, was held at the European University in Rome. The Supreme Court of the Republic of Poland was represented by First President of the Supreme Court, dr hab. Małgorzata Manowska, Supreme Court Judge, dr hab. Joanna Lemańska, and Supreme Court Judge, dr hab. Aleksander Stępkowski, all of whom delivered lectures, as well as Chief of the Chancellery of the First President of the Supreme Court, dr Anna Guzik. The conference was organised by the European University of Rome in cooperation with the Rosario Livatino Study Centre.

    ​On 18–20 March 2026, at the invitation of the First President of the Supreme Court, dr hab. Małgorzata Manowska, the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Albania and President of the Administrative Chamber, dr Sokol Sadushi, paid a visit to Warsaw. He was accompanied by a delegation which included the Vice-President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Albania and President of the Criminal Chamber, dr Ilir Panda; the Judge and President of the Civil Chamber, Artur Kalaja; and the Adviser to the President of the Supreme Court, Bjorka Duka.
