​In recent weeks, the First President of the Supreme Court has received numerous appeals to refer to the Constitutional Tribunal a request for the review of certain provisions of the Act on family planning, protection of the human foetus and conditions for termination of pregnancy. The appeals were directly related to information concerning a tragic event that took place at a hospital in Oleśnica. According to publicly available reports, a child in the 37th week of foetal life was killed there by an injection of potassium chloride into the heart.
