On 31 July 2026, the First President of the Supreme Court, Zbigniew Kapiński, took part in the ceremony commemorating the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. The main ceremonies, attended by the President of the Republic of Poland, Warsaw Insurgents, representatives of state and local government authorities, as well as residents of the capital city, took place at the Warsaw Uprising Monument on Krasińskich Square in Warsaw. The ceremonies were held the day before the official anniversary of the outbreak of the Uprising.
At 6.00 pm, a solemn Holy Mass was celebrated for the souls of the fallen Warsaw Insurgents, their commanders and the civilians. The liturgy was presided over by the Field Bishop of the Polish Army.
Following the Holy Mass, a solemn Roll Call of Remembrance was read out, and wreaths and flowers were laid at the monument. The First President of the Supreme Court laid flowers on behalf of the Supreme Court, paying tribute to the Warsaw Insurgents and to all the heroes who fought for Poland's freedom and independence.
